AGBU Goriz Leadership Development Programme Held its Final Digital Session for the Year 2021

22 December 2021

Launched by AGBU Europe in 2019, the Goriz Leadership Development Programme is designed to equip young Armenian professionals with leadership skills, based on the best practices of world-class leadership programmes.

Due to the global health crisis, the programme was adapted to an online format in 2021. From March to December, participants of the Digital Goriz programme, joining from different European countries, attended a series of six online seminars on the topic of leadership, each conducted by well-established professionals from Armenia and the diaspora.

The speakers came from various backgrounds, from the academic field as well as from the business world, and included former Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia Lara Tcholakian Doudaklian of VivaCell-MTS, Tatevik Revazian of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, Emma Arakelyan, CEO and Founder of Orion Worldwide Innovations, Gohar Sargsyan, Partner and Director at CGI Group Inc, and Rafi Baghdjian, former Executive at Shell.

Coordinated by Programme Manager Haik Khanamiryan, the online training addressed a range of topics related to leadership, from the role of collective trauma in the development of historically conscious leaders to reflections on resilience, age and gender-based stereotypes, exponential leadership, mapping the leadership cultures and leading in uncertain times.
