About 2 500 churches and monasteries in Western Armenia have been transformed into “mass graves of stones” during the Armenian genocide.

To remember this tragedy, French writer and photographer Pascal Maguesyan walked the roads where christian Armenians, Assyrians and Chaldo-Assyrians have been taken to death and their great civilization annihilated.
