Polish Armenians: seven centuries of existence – Conference in Warsaw, Poland

The Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, with the participation of AGBU Europe, are organizing a conference day to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the privileges attributed by King Casimir the Great to Polish Armenians in 1367.

The contribution made by Armenians to Poland “is invaluable and penetrates practically all of social life, because they were both excellent farmers and created [sections] of the Polish intelligentsia, they were wonderful craftsmen and merchants”, said Polish President Andrzej Duda.
